Ripped off by the Maharaja /August 9, 2013

As my stress levels elevated today I called upon my 'unique' transcendental meditation mantra. This 'unique' mantra was given to me as part of a £500 course. I was told it would cease to be effective if I disclosed it to anyone. Naturally I immediately disclosed mine and found it was actually the same 'unique' mantra as everyone else. You know what? They were right. My indiscretion has rendered the mantra powerless and however many times I uttered, thought or blurted " Herrang" today my stress levels remained. I eventually returned to a more Anglo-Saxon mantra....it felt really good actually.

So why the stress?

Insure my daughter's car...tick.
Pay late filing fine to Companies House....tick.
Contest withdrawal of Business Rates Appeal...tick.
Navigate Student Loan site....tick. (Whatever was I thinking when I chose Mr. Burston as my favourite teacher for the security question)

I felt ripped off and powerless in every dialogue and transaction. Even the Maharaja had had his pound of flesh. 
  
I really do hope that some spooks in GCHQ or NSA are listening to all my phone calls and tracking my e-mails because dealing with authority and regulation is beyond tedious. There are probably low level spies googling Herrang and trying to link it to my dubious search engine history.  Anyone spying on me today is certain to be bored...maybe even suicidal, which would be ironic...

If you haven't already done so, I recommend watching the video in the 'We love..' section. For me the concept of two different planets and the emergence of the NEO is just another demonstration of the shift which is occurring around and to us. 

Tedious ventures into officialdom and the old paradigm of command and control are still occasional necessities but less and less so. The energy with which you do so is important but don't beat yourself up if you slip into stress, anger, or whatever, as was my experience this morning. In fact it makes me more appreciative of the emerging awareness and 'NEO' type possibilities.
