The Pinstripe Revolution

I got a text this morning from an old friend who asked "How do you buy gold and who looks after it? I now believe the end is coming!"

What is funny is that this friend could not be more embedded in the system if he tried. A tax accountant living in Tunbridge Wells, married to an investment banker. He epitomises middle England. The book he has just read is the Money Bubble and he described it as "scarey stuff."

For years he just couldn't hear me whether we were discussing banking, vaccination or aspartame. I was never brave enough to go anywhere near 9/11! About a year ago he started asking me more questions and borrowing books, but by then I had lost all desire to explain my thinking, beliefs or ideas. I felt no need to change anyone's view or convert them to my version of the truth, because it's just another version after all!

So when I got his text this morning I had to chuckle. He got there with his own enquiry. He has overcome his own discomfort with the cognitive dissonance the new information caused, and is actually looking to act. Funnily enough, I don't particularly envy him as he ventures down the rabbit hole as the information will generate a number of responses. Disbelief, anger, and fear will likely occupy him until he re-emerges having grasped the enormity of his realisations and feel empowered and at peace.

What is interesting is that if he is waking up and ready to embrace this new information how many others are too? If they are all living in the commuter belt around London it could be the start of the most unlikely revolution in the history of the world. We've had Colour revolutions, Facebook revolutions but are we ready for the Pinstripe revolution?

I have written often about the need for personal stability at this time and as more people awaken there is likely to be a lot of free floating emotion and disorientation. There is little to "do" beyond maintaining your stability. There is no-one to save and everyone will access what they need in the perfect manner at the perfect time. Your stability will draw people to you but do not get drawn into drama, solutions or rescuing however compelling the situation.

Pull up a chair and enjoy the show! The Pinstripe revolution may just be starting.
