The Need To Be Right /March 21, 2014

The need to be right.

Something has shifted. 

There is not an obvious word to describe what has shifted or the accompanying feeling. I have attempted with words such as refined, sweet, Inviolable. None of them come close to capturing the essence of whatever it is. 

The desire to find a word is more of an acknowledgment than a communication. There feels no need to communicate or even share this feeling although strangely you can immediately feel its presence in some and equally its absence in others.  

In my case, this feeling has tempered the need to be right and with that a huge weight has lifted. It has increased my awareness of the many areas in life where that need to be right, or to know, have drained my energy and limited possibility.

Maybe its time for this stubborn Taurean to let go a little more!
